Five Months. That’s the amount of time that Madame Secretary Hillary Clinton was US Secretary of State for which there are no emails – at all – in the hands of investigators. Clinton maintains that those emails were all personal, but it strains the imagination to believe that entire months went by without conducting any state business, right?
According to Judicial Watch president Tom Fitton, who obtained information about the gaps, many of these vacant periods occurred during highly controversial activities, such as the months before the September attack on the Benghazi embassy and the entire day when the iconic photo above was taken.
That’s a little hard to believe. It seems that the NY Times and CNN might be spending some time discussing that, but they are profoundly uncurious about those suspicious gaps, preferring to focus on the technicalities of whether she broke any rules by having a private server.
The good news is that the FBI has indicated they may be able to recover some of the withheld emails, and then we may see just what it was that she deemed too embarrassing to surrender voluntarily.
