David Horowitz: Trump Derangement Syndrome is Real

220px-David_Horowitz_by_Gage_SkidmoreDavid Horowitz [Breitbart] – I don’t think I speak for myself alone when I confess utter bewilderment at the number of conservatives – among whom I count long-term friends – who seem to have lost their marbles when assessing the presidential candidacy of Donald Trump.

Though Horowitz still respects the intellect of his wayward friends, I find that I cannot. These intellectuals, these men and women in conservative think tanks and university staffs and magazine bull pens, have one job.  Their job it is to be right every now and then. They are actually paid to do their homework, and to know what we do not, and conclude what is best and so lead us into truth. Yet, they have, in fact, done the opposite, though they have had every chance to do otherwise. Curse them, they have done only what a child could do and less. Even a child is led, more often than not, by his heart, and so sees what God sees and in humility recognizes reality.  Though, reality often seems indifferent to the intellects of men.

Particularly timely in view of conservatives (a word that has lost all meaning) like Fox chief correspondent Ed Henry getting called out on their affairs. Allegedly, Henry sent pictures of his penis to his paramour. Who the hell in their right mind does something like that? Furthermore, what woman in her right mind wants a picture of someones junk? A picture of a diamond necklace would be much more enticing. I’m sick to death of all these holier than thou pigs calling out everyone else for not being real Christians or real conservatives, or real anything.

I’m starting to think there’s very few sane people left in this world.

Who knew Carlos Danger had a little brother lurking around town?

I’m in full agreement. I’m sick of hearing who’s a self-proclaimed real Christian or real conservative. Actions speak a helluva lot louder than words. Victor Davis Hansen wrote a great piece last week on how Obama cleared the way for Trump, Obama’s Gift of Immunity to Trump. The Federalist went one step further and pinned it on another “real conservative,” John Roberts, with How John Roberts Begat Donald Trump.

After Obama it’s hard to imagine anyone doing much worse. It’s also quite apparent the so-called real conservatives are so completely out of touch that they couldn’t coordinate a message or a candidate that the masses would get behind and support. How are you going to win a general election with that kind of strategy? In walks the orange buffoon, with all the buzzwords and people are going wild. The genius pontificators still can’t figure out what hit them. Here’s a clue: Most of the country doesn’t give a rat’s ass about conservative principles. They want someone to knock a snot bubble out of Clinton’s nose and level the playing field for average Joe countrymen. How many years do “real conservatives” expect the average guy to wait until conservatives get something right? Apparently they just got that answer, and still can’t get their heads around it. If Trump wins and ends up destroying the Republican party, so be it. If it was any good this wouldn’t have happened to begin with.

In the mean time I’ll sit back, grab some popcorn, and watch Trump lace into that despicable, lying slob, whose political career should have ended years ago.

    • It may be underrated by most people, but I still value sanity!
