Cooking Robots Gone Wild!

London-based Moley Robotics has announced that they’ve produced a kitchen robot with a repertoire of 2000 dishes for $14,800. That’s impressive. But, we here at the Grunt Blog prefer to wait until a French or Japanese or Israeli company enters the market. Those robots might be expected to sport a nice girlish smile or a bit of fake silicone cleavage. But a politically correct Anglo company? Sorry, a LenaBot cannot be worth $14,800. Hat tip: Diogenes.

  1. This is not the droid you’re looking for.

One of my favorite trash movies is Cherry 2000. And I think she did cook.

    • I heard that that wasn’t a bad movie, actually. Kinda under appreciated. Somebody even said it might have been Melanie Griffith’s best performance.

She was good, and her one-liners were funny. But the music for this film was extraordinary. After watching the movie, I never looked at the desert the same way again.
